PYRUS was launched in 2005 by London based designers Lorraine and Ash Johnson and has rapidly evolved into a modern and contemporary sought after label.

The aim of the brand has always been to create wardrobe favorites for fashion aware women who are not led by fashion fads. She has a refined, eclectic personal style and is an astute observer of small details and quality. The collections can be found in select boutiques, independents and department stores in London and across the UK, Europe, Japan, America, Hong Kong and The Middle East in addition to their flagship concept-store in the heart of London’s West End just off Carnaby Street.

As well as offering exclusive pieces that are not available in other stores, the flagship store allows Lorraine and Ash a freedom to incorporate their own vision and tastes by stocking independent designers. Whether it be jewelry, ceramic, scents or accessories, everything in store is all hand picked by the designers themselves. The PYRUS store prides itself in supporting small unknown designers and has become a unique platform for artisans and creatives to display and sell their work through the boutique and The Basement Gallery.

The Basement Gallery was launched in 2010 to exhibit and sell works by emerging and established artists, illustrators, photographers and creatives invited by the designers. The space has hosted shows by Debbie Lawson, Beth Carter, Geza Szollosi and Mr Clements among others.
